We Analyzed Sculpt Nation Greens Powder: 5 Key Takeaways

We all know that getting your 5 servings of fruits and veggies a day is extremely important. It doesn’t just help you feel good on a day to day basis, it also supports your long-term health.

Fresh fruits and vegetables are packed with polyphenols, vitamins, and trace minerals that nourish your body and protect it from oxidative stress.

But let’s be real. Almost no one today has the time nor energy to eat healthily all of the time – never mind preparing your own fresh foods!

While a greens powder can’t replace a healthy diet, it is an extremely simple, fast, and convenient way of getting those key nutrients on occasions where you can’t, or simply don’t have the time, to eat the healthiest of foods.

But, just like with any supplement, there are TONS of greens powder on the market. It can be hard for a layperson to tell a high-quality greens powder with a good balance of key nutrients and tasty flavor. We can’t state how important it is to do proper research before buying a supplement like greens powder. Not just because it’s your hard-earned money, but also because you’ll be taking this supplement often – perhaps even on a daily basis – so you need to make sure you’re giving your body something that will help it work better, not damage it.

Not to worry, because today we’ve done the hard work for you! We tested Sculpt Nation Greens, analyzed it, and consulted with the rest of the team to put together this complete review – starting with a short summary!

Sculpt Nation GREENS Review at a Glance

  • Sculpt Nation Greens delivers farm-fresh vegetables and a range of essential nutrients, making it easier for you to meet your daily RDA’s. In addition, Sculpt Nation says their Greens Powder will help boost your brain function and reduce inflammation in the body.
  • It’s only sold on Sculpt Nation’s website and costs $49 per 30 servings. Sculpt Nation Greens doesn’t sell to the UK, it’s only available in Canada and America.
  • Most of the ingredients in Sculpt Nation Greens are hidden in proprietary blends so you don’t see their amounts. This allows the manufacturer to skimp on the expensive ingredients while stuffing the product with ineffective and lower-quality nutrients.
  • The ingredients themselves look good, they’ve included antioxidants and adaptogens that don’t just provide nutritional value to your body, but they also help reduce stress. Sculpt Nation Greens also contains collagen to improve your skin & joint health.
  • Sculpt Nation Greens contains an artificial sweetener which may have negative effects on the gut microbiome.
  • Overall, Sculpt Nation Greens is a decent greens powder – but it’s far from the best. If you’re looking to improve your energy levels, metabolic function, and mental well-being amongst others, we definitely recommend checking the latest and most advanced multivitamins on the market by clicking the link below.

About Sculpt Nation Greens and the Company Behind it

Sculpt Nation is a company that produces a variety of fitness-focused supplements. Although they’re a relatively new brand, Sculpt Nation’s marketing and ad campaigns have garnered them millions on followers on social media.

They’re infamous for their Sculpt Nation Burn and Test Boost formulas, which are two of the most controversial supplements in their line – pushed hard by Sculpt Nation’s CEO Vince (the main face of the company), but having mixed reviews online.

Only recently, Sculpt Nation has branched out into producing more general health supplements, such as Turmeric and Greens Powder.

You came here to learn about their Greens supplements, so let’s talk about it a bit more.

Greens comes in three different flavors (including an unflavored option), and contains 30 servings per tub. 1 serving being a 8-g scoop.

Sculpt Nation say their Greens supplement is a nutrient-dense, delicious way of priming your body and brain to work at their peak.

Claimed Benefits and Advantages

  • Packed with vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and anti-inflammatory plants and nutrients such as turmeric, Rhodiola Root, and Collagen
  • Supports joint function and skin quality
  • Promotes workout recovery
  • Feel better mentally and physically

Obviously, all the greens supplements will claim similar things! But how does Sculpt Nation Greens hold up to scrutiny? Let’s take a closer look!

How to use Sculpt Nation Greens

The official Sculpt Nation website doesn’t provide any instructions on how to use their Greens supplement. That said, one scoop is one serving, which is enough for most people.

You can take Sculpt Nation Greens with or without food, although it’s preferred to take it with a bit of food to help with the absorption of some of its fat-soluble compounds.

Sculpt Nation Greens Ingredients

Except for Collagen, all of Sculpt Nation Greens ingredients are in proprietary blends – 3 of them to be precise. Each blend serves its own purpose at supporting your body.

There’s the Green Balance Alkalizing Blend, Betta Berries Antioxidant Blend, and Adaptogenic Blend.

The flavored options of Sculpt Nation Greens all contain Sucralose. Also commonly known as Splenda, this is an artificial sweetener that studies show can alter our gut microbiome.

The big issue with this supplement is the lack of transparency. The ingredients themselves, as we said, look good. But without knowing their exact dosages, it’s very difficult to tell how this product will work for you.

Here’s a closer look;

Green Balance Alkalizing Blend

This blend consists of alfalfa grass, barley grass, chlorella, spirulina, astragalus and a several other “superfoods”. These are all nutrient-dense plants that can help lower blood sugar and detoxify your body when taken in right amounts. However, too much can cause problems.

Chlorella is the one ingredient in this blend we’d stay away from. It binds to metals like mercury, however this bond is very weak. As a result, instead of getting rid of these metals, chlorella just redistributes them throughout your body.

You may ask; “so you’re telling me chlorella isn’t healthy?” It depends on who takes it. We definitely recommend talking to your doctor before using this ingredient, especially if you have any kind of condition.

The rest of this blend looks decent, though. Astragalus is a powerful kidney tonic. As such it can help not only with detoxification but also with things like kidney stones.

Betta Berries Antioxidant Blend

This Sculpt Nation Greens blend focuses more on ingredients like acai berries, goji berries, cranberries, and schisandra. All of these are protective of your liver. They work to enhance your body’s native antioxidant networks.

Schisandra has the added benefit of being an adaptogen – meaning, it helps your body cope with stress better.

Speaking of adaptogens…

Adaptogenic Blend

This blend is all about improving your well-being. It consists of Rhodiola, Ashwagandha, Turmeric and the likes. These ingredients are known for reducing the negative effects of cortisol on your body – things like increased inflammation and reduced control of your emotions. They can also improve your energy levels.

These are all good ingredients, but the entire blend weighs just 487mg. Ashwagandha alone should weigh that much. On the other hand, Rohidola could work even at lower doses, such as 50mg per day.

Collagen

Sculpt Nation Greens contains collagen + Lactobacillus sporonges, a type of bacteria that works together with collagen to promote healthy joints and skin. This is the only ingredient blend in Sculpt Nation Greens which shows the doses of its ingredients on the label, and an excellent one as far as improving skin quality is concerned.

Customer Reviews

There aren’t too many customer reviews on Sculpt Nation Greens specifically.

In terms of Sculpt Nation reviews in general, the company isn’t well received online. Many users complain about having recurring credit card charges without their previous consent. This could, in part, explain why Sculpt Nation only has 1.9 stars on Trustpilot.

Any Side Effects?

You may get side effects from excess doses of certain ingredients, such as chlorella. The side effects might include:

  • Headaches
  • Nausea
  • Irritability
  • Insomnia
  • Joint pain
  • Digestive issues

*You should check with a qualified professional if you aren’t sure whether to take this product or not. Remember, our posts aren’t meant as advice – they’re for informational and entertainment purposes only!

The Bottom Line

The bottom line on Sculpt Nation Greens is – it has some good ingredients for energy, stress, skin and joints, and general health, but their doses aren’t shown.

If you don’t mind this, then Sculpt Nation Greens could very well be worth a try!

Keep in mind that it costs $49 per a 30-day supply which rivals some of the better quality greens supplements on the market, and so we would definitely advise doing more research before making the final decision.

At this price range though, you can easily find supplements with transparent ingredient labels, so at least you’ll be knowing what you’re paying for.

I started taking Greens for 4 days and I’m surprised it has healed my stomach pain, I’ve had continuously everyday for 6 months or more. Was diagnosed with ulcers reflux and helicobacter pylori cause of bloating and gas. I couldn’t walk very far before having to sit down. I now have energy that I actually went for 10 min walks rested for 10min then did it again. I’m very surprised, so far the pain has not returned. I also lost 3kilos which probably is fluids. What I want to know is what foods can I have eg..breakfast, lunch and dinner. I know sugars processed and fats are a no go to foods, which I’m staying away from. But I believe Boil Bake and Steam is the new system. Any advice is appreciated as I believe I will be be staying on Greens till I see what other improvements I will get. I have 4 Containers, I also have 4 bottles BURN Supplements, should I take it with GREEN’S to help lose weight?
