NatureWise Curcumin Turmeric 2250mg is a turmeric supplement with ginger and black pepper extract, designed to provide support for your cardiovascular system, joints, mood, and digestion. Turmeric supplements can seem like a dime a dozen; try one and you’ve tried them all.

But in reality, the quality of every turmeric supplement differs, and each formula may contain different extra ingredients (ginger in this case). Depending on your goals, certain turmeric supplements will work better for you. Is NatureWise Curcumin Turmeric one of them?

We find out in our recently updated review (January 2023)!

NatureWise Curcumin Turmeric 2250mg at a Glance

NatureWise Curcumin Turmeric 2250mg Ingredients

The ingredients you’re getting here are what you’d expect from a good-quality turmeric supplement. You’re getting the turmeric extract, along with the whole-spectrum turmeric root powder. In addition, NatureWise Curcumin Turmeric contains Organic Ginger which goes very well with turmeric. And so does Black Pepper Extract, which increases turmeric’s absorption.

As far as turmeric supplements go, this is a fairly good formula. However, if you’re looking for complete joint support – pain, flexibility, inflammation – NatureWise Curcumin Turmeric is missing a lot from its formula to be called the best. It’s missing selenium, chondroitin+glucosamine, MSM, and other core ingredients that help support healthy joints, especially in older age. That being said, if you’re just looking for some cardiovascular and antioxidant support, turmeric and ginger will do.

Let’s take a closer look.

Turmeric

People have been using turmeric for centuries and it has been used in all kinds of foods and medicines. But it’s only recently that we’ve begun to understand the full extent of its benefits.

Scientists had already found evidence of its anti-inflammatory properties, but they weren’t sure about the extent. So, they looked at more than 400 studies on people who had rheumatoid arthritis and found that those who took curcumin (a compound found in turmeric) were 45% less likely to go into remission than those who didn’t take it. Curcumin is thought to work by suppressing an enzyme called COX2 which is responsible for inflammation.

Ginger

Ginger is a spice that is often used in cooking. It has been shown to have many health benefits from preventing heart diseases to reducing nausea.

In traditional medicine, ginger has been used for thousands of years for various health problems including stomach issues, pain and menstrual cramps. There are various ways in which ginger can be ingested: raw, ground, powdered and as a tea.

The health benefits of ginger range from aiding digestion and reducing inflammation to improving circulation and boosting the immune system.

Black Pepper Extract

Black pepper is the world’s most popular spice because of the flavor it adds to foods, but it also has medicinal uses. Black pepper can reduce inflammation when taken internally, combat food-borne illnesses, and even increase the absorption of turmeric when combined with it.

Customer Reviews

There are plenty of NatureWise Curcumin Turmeric reviews & testimonials on websites like Amazon. The product boasts a high average score, with most users being happy with how safe and light it is. Here are a few testimonials from Amazon:

“Everybody months inorder this product, the price increases by almost 3$. These pills are poorly made and are not checked for quality. The amount of loose particles in the bottle is ridiculous.” – Shawn B.

“These help only if I take three at night and two in the morning. I expected more relief. I have been taking them since they came in the mail via Amazon. Also I noticed that their hard to go down and later I can feel the black pepper so I get heartburn from them. But when you are trying to do natural pain relief sometimes things take at least a month to work. Buy it’s your own risk.” – Ming

“I notice when I’m consistently taking the turmeric, my tennis elbow has shown great improvement! I stopped for a week to see if it was simply a “placebo” effect but I definitely had more pain in both arms. Once I returned to usual dosage, I again noticed marked improvement.” – Altered Art71
