In this day and age, keeping healthy is becoming a real challenge. With all the stressors around, our immune system is constantly under pressure to keep up, which can take its toll over time and lead to various ills.

  • 20kcal per stick
  • Contains vitamin C and D along with 8 other nutrients
  • Uses synthetic versions of some ingredients (e.g. vitamin A)
  • Solid reviews on their website

Ingredients – What’s Inside?

Inside Bowmar Nutrition Immunity support you’ll find these ingredients:

  • Dietary Fiber (5g)
  • Vitamin A (450mcg)
  • Vitamin C (1800mg)
  • Vitamin D (4000IU)
  • Vitamin E (15mg)
  • Vitamin B5 (85mg)
  • Biotin (15mcg)
  • Magnesium (85mg)
  • Zinc (33mg)
  • Manganese (1.15mg)

Each stick contains 20 calories, which is not too terrible.

One thing we like about the formula is that it has no proprietary blends. We’re able to see what’s inside in terms of doses.

The ingredients themselves look good!

Vitamin A

Vitamin A is essential for the immune system, but we generally recommend avoiding Retinyl Acetate because it’s a synthetic version.

Beta carotene is not actually vitamin A but in fact its precursor. Much of beta-carotene goes to waste and very little is absorbed by our body.

Vitamins C & D

However, other vitamins look good. C is essential for your immune system.

The same goes for vitamin D which regulates practically every function of your body.

Zinc

Zinc is also there which is great.

The dose is too high for our liking but if you take it with a heavy meal it shouldn’t cause too much issues.

B Vitamins

Next up there’s some biotin and vitamin B5, both of which aren’t really necessary if you eat a varied diet.

Fiber?

You’ll also notice dietary fiber on the label. 5g is a good amount.

It can help support digestion, and as you may know, our gut governs our health!

Our Thoughts on the Ingredients

Overall, Bowmar’s Immunity formula looks good, but it’s missing a few important ingredients that would make it better. Such as medicinal mushrooms, elderberry, selenium, garlic, and propolis.

Also, the ingredients such as vitamin A and C come as synthetic versions. We understand this is cheaper to manufacture but using more natural forms is well worth the investment!

Safety – Does Bowmar Nutrition Immunity Support Have Side Effects?

Bowmar Nutrition contains a higher dose of zinc. About 15mg per dose can cause you the following side effects if you take it on an empty stomach:

  • Nausea
  • Stomach pains
  • Diarrea
  • Vomiting

We recommend taking Bowmar Nutrition Immunity support with a meal to avoid the issue. Other ingredients shouldn’t cause any problems!

*You should check with a qualified professional if you aren’t sure whether to take this product or not. Remember, our posts aren’t meant as advice – they’re for informational and entertainment purposes only!

The Bottom Line

Bowmar Nutrition Immunity Support are cool looking orange-flavored sticks that provide your body with the essential vitamins and minerals for normal daily function.

Will it boost your immune system?

Well, if you’re deficient in vitamin C and D, it will definitely help. The ingredients are dosed nicely too, but some of them come in less bioavailable forms.

If we could make this product better, we’d add a few more herbs and mushrooms along with replacing the synthetic nutrients with their natural versions.

Yes, it would be more expensive to produce, but it would also bring better benefits in terms of energy, immunity, and so on!

    1. Hi Jen,

It contains calories, so yes, technically, it will break your fast. Even though it doesn’t have a lot of calories and it probably won’t have much of an effect on your blood glucose, we would still advise avoiding Bowmar Nutrition Immunity Support during your fasting period.

      Hope that helps.
